With so many disappointing headlines on TV and the Internet, it certainly seems like 2009 is a wonderful year to be afraid of things, doesn’t it? Well, let’s try to have some fun again. The old-fashioned way — with vampires, ghosts, monsters, and more.
(Not TOO much fun, obviously. Smiling leaves the teeth looking helpless and vulnerable. Best not to risk it, I always say.)
So welcome to The FearSeeker Files (beta), where, on a somewhat regular basis, I will post new horrors for you as I find them.
I look forward to seeing all of the old, familiar screen names and maybe a few new ones, too. My hope is that the site will grow in coming months, not unlike the giant, many-tentacled beast at the end of a good RESIDENT EVIL boss battle. So here’s the deal: I will keep posting articles as long as you keep posting comments.
Except, of course, when my ghastly research requires me to disappear for a week or two. Stay tuned for news on these future projects in the months ahead.
