May you never tire of reading about crows, for I fear I will never tire of writing about them.

Then, back in real life, the hilariously named Dr. Bird revealed the cleverness of the common crow years later in a series of experiments reported here. First, the video game mind controller. Now this: A machine that identifies “memory traces” in your brain’s hypocampus.
Translation: “Yeek! It can read my mind!”
What next? Only SkyNet knows for sure.
On a not-entirely-unrelated note, Christopher Nolan’s big-budget INCEPTION is looking mighty fine. “Your Mind Is the Scene of the Crime.”
First, crows. Now, octopuses. The eight-legged wonders appear to be harnessing the power of coconut shells for purposes of their own devious dwellings.

Scientists have discovered a new species of frog along the Mekong River in Southeast Asia. With long, fearsome fangs, it enjoys a light appetizer of the usual comfort food (insects), but prefers birds for the main course.
