The walking dead can walk a little more comfortably now. You’re only two feet away from the scariest slippers you’ll ever lay eyes upon. And speaking of eyes, these slippers have those, too, along with big bloody mouths and easy-access braaains.
Available from ThinkGeek for only $19.99.

SKULL COOKIE JAR
“Alas, poor cookie, we knew you; a treat of infinite deliciousness, of most excellent flavor.” So states the description of this metallic, skull-shaped cookie jar. Users beg to differ, apparently. The user-generated reviews complain of a product more damaged than it appears in the picture, including scuffed paint and a “horribly scratched” lid. Silly Internet! Here at HQ, we call those artistic enhancements. Scuffed and scratched skulls make for festive additions to any holiday table.
Available from Urban Outfitters for $34.00.

SCARY STORIES TEES
Dare to wear your favorite scare. Surely, you recall Alvin Schwartz’s classic SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK books, if only for the pictures, if not for the stories themselves. Does everybody truly understand the seismic cultural impact of these controversial books? Oh, we might think we do. But do we really? If so, let’s prove it. Let’s all don these spine-tingling t-shirts featuring Stephen Gammell’s timeless ink-blot illustrations on the front. The reverse side features the accompanying scary story in its entirety.
Available from Karma Loop for $32.00.

HUG SALT AND PEPPER SHAKER
To paraphrase a wise parapsychologist, “Keep your friends close; your ghosts closer.” Is the dining room close enough? Alberto Mantilla created these two ceramic spirits, their souls forever intertwined atop your kitchen table, meal after meal. Disrupt their embrace with the occasional shake. ‘Tis the seasonings!
The MoMA Store offers the original porcelain Hug Salt and Pepper Shakers for $30.00. Beware of plastic fakes.

"SKULLY" PORTABLE SPEAKER
This three-inch speaker plugs into your iPhone, iPod, iPad, or other portable device. It’s the perfect complement for your iTombs — erm, iTunes — collection.
Available from beloved Hot Topic for $16.99.

Those salt and pepper shakers are so adorable!!!
Group? If there’s a group i’m probably the dumb one. That, or i’m not even in the group…
Hey, guys, anyone else think that Gossamer is cool enough to join the group? She certainly seems smart enough, and she likes ThinkGeek. I vote her in.
I remember Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark! I got it a long time ago at a library book sale. It was a paperback. There are three books in the series? I didn’t know that; I thought there was only one…I must find the other two!
Those salt and pepper shakers are the cutest!
I love all of the stuff on ThinkGeek. They have a lot more zombie stuff where those slippers came from. They also have NBC stuff and vampires stuff.
I still have nightmares about that SCARY STORIES book!
VELVET UNDERGROUND, BECK AND THE YEAH YEAH YEAHS!
Anyway, do you happen to know what “So Happy I Could Die” is about?
