Yes, it’s the debut of the first trailer for A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. It’s a well-crafted peek at the upcoming remake. Careful observers will notice . . . well, nothing especially interesting in any given glimpse at the actual movie.
You’ll still want to see it. We all will. The FX will surely rock.
But will it be anywhere near as clever or as creepy as A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET III: THE DREAM WARRIORS? That’s the only question worth asking.

The new Freddy Krueger will never be as good as Robert Englund. *sigh* Such is life, I suppose.

Why does every horror movie trailer start with some dude freaking out, hyperventilating, and running for his life?
The trailer looks cool. Really cool.
Freddy Kruger looks much better in this movie, by what I’ve seen about the nightmare movies. Which is basically action figures and props.
But it’s sooo cooool!
I wonder. Is Freddy Kruger the guy who blew up? I couldn’t get that much from the trailer.
