EA Sports has announced the next victims athletes to be featured on the cover of the wildly popular MADDEN NFL video game. Condolences Congratulations to the two NFL superstars: some guy named Larry Fitzgerald and some guy named Troy Polamalu!

Fans of ENCYCLOPEDIA HORRIFICA (p. 122, “NO FAIR!”) might recall that this is probably somewhat of a mixed blessing for the two gentlemen. A fearsome fate has befallen the overwhelming majority of athletes featured on the cover of MADDEN NFL.

Former NASA astronaut Edgar Mitchell told the National Press Club that he believes the U.S. government is covering up the truth about UFOs and aliens.

In his own words:

“Our destiny, in my opinion, and we might as well get started with it, is [to] become a part of the planetary community. … We should be ready to reach out beyond our planet and beyond our solar system to find out what is really going on out there.”
