I <3 the controllers for the Nintendo Wii, but I can also empathize with the haters: Where are the scary games?
Were it not for two games just released in February (see #3 & #2), the following list would merely be a Top 3 at best.
HONORARY MENTION: GOOSEBUMPS HORRORLAND
Full disclosure: I played an early advisory role for this game in my previous life as Goosebumps editor so I am biased. But if u r a GB fan…”GET READY FOR THE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE!”
#4 RESIDENT EVIL: THE UMBRELLA CHRONICLES The game works swell with the Nyko Perfect Shot accessory.
#3 DEADLY CREATURES I haven’t played it yet but u get to play as a scorpion. ‘Nuff said.
#2 HOUSE OF THE DEAD: OVERKILL A well-earned “M for Mature” rating.
#1 RESIDENT EVIL 4 Ancient but classic. Artful and so very vast. Only $20.00!
This is the first official review that I’ve seen:
It’s wildly positive. I’ve had my IMAX tickets for about two weeks now, but I think the true entertainment value will lie in the Blu-Ray experience. Much like BLADE RUNNER, every frame appears to be a cornucopia of PAUSE-able moments packed with tiny visual details.
That being said, nothing can ever live up to the perfection of Trailer #1 featuring “The Beginning Is the End Is the Beginning” by Smashing Pumpkins (originally featured on the soundtrack of 1997′s awful BATMAN AND ROBIN).
From OMG! Did Google Earth find Atlantis? | The Social – CNET News:
“From what it sounds like, a British aeronautical engineer was playing around with the new Google Earth 5.0, which includes undersea data, and noticed something funny off the coast of Africa, about 600 miles west of the Canary Islands, that resembled a pattern of a street grid.”
This story reminds me a lot of the alleged humanoid face in the Cydonia region on Mars:

FEAR 2 to advertise on animals | Electricpig.
Photos Spark Fear of ‘Borneo Monster’.
I watched the TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN teaser trailer, and I wasn’t that impressed.
Then I watched it in Quicktime HD.
I’m impressed.
